Chris Green's Double IPA
This one landed a first place in the IPA category at the Chicago Beer Society's Spooky Brew Review 2009. The margins didn't line up right but you will get the idea. All hop varieties are pellets unless otherwise noted.

Re: Chris Green's Double IPA
Double IPA ... one of my favorite styles. Do you have any to sample???
Beth & I just started drinking our original recipe double IPA, 'Brain Trauma'... We'll bring along a couple bombers to the next meeting. 23 lbs of grain & 170 IBU's!!! (according to Beersmith program, Rager scale) approx 9%abv(seems stronger), we're really enjoying this one. Still a young beer, extremely hoppy, but balanced. We're gettin' 'traumatized'!
Will post the recipe after reviews at the meeting if anyone is interested.
