Tobacco Beer

Has anyone ever thought of brewing a beer with tobacco leaves? Kind of like the Simpsons Tomacco, It would be interesting to try but could be toxic with high levels of nicotine. Also, getting the taste just right would be difficult. I mean how many people crave drinking tobacco juice?

Also, think of the possibilities of brewing a drink that is addicting on two levels. Imagine that selling power. Once other group suggested smoking the malt with tobacco leaves, would that work?

Don't know about "Beer-acco"... I got a buddy who has had Pizza-Beer at Indiana Microbrewers Winterfest last year.

I don't know if you have ever swallowed a mouthful of spit while chewing tobacco but for the untrained stomach it is quite nauseating. There may be a way to impart a tobacco flavor into a beer though I have no idea how.

This whole thread has me thinking of Tomacco - the wonderful Tomato/Toabacco mix made famous by one Homer Simpson
