Another new guy from Griffith

Howdy everyone.

Been brewing for a bit over a year now out of an apartment, and now a house in Griffith, IN. Made the jump to all-grain at Christmastime this past year and I haven't looked back. It's been the perfect "nerd" outlet for me, part art, part science, part cooking, part drinking. Haven't been to a homebrew club meeting (another obligation on Monday nights that I hope to soon remove), but I'm certainly looking forward to coming and meeting everybody. As far as what I like to brew... all kinds of things! I've been trying my hand at bigger styles recently, with a barleywine bubbling away in primary as we speak. Next up is an IPA, for which I bought the supplies just today at Kennywood in Crown Point. My next brewing-related project is converting a couple of kegs into a mash tun and brew kettle. I've got the top off one, just need that surprisingly expensive step bit to drill some holes.

Anyhow, I'm rambling a bit. I'll go look around.
